MacLink for Macola Progression and ES Software
BASE2 offers an interface to the Exact Macola Progression and Macola ES Software. This is the easiest way to get EDI data into Macola that exists today. The interface directly populates the Macola Order Entry files and the Forecast file with Firm and Planning Orders respectively. It uses the Macola control files to assign Order and Forecast numbers to the new orders AutoLine creates. AutoLine stores the Macola order number into its own Firm and Planned order files, allowing it to update existing Macola orders when things change with a Trading Partner. You can really simplify payment reconciliation by posting a single shipment from AutoLine as one order in Macola with all the parts on the one shipment as line items in Macola.
MacLink is a separate program to maintain tight control over the exporting process. The end user does no mapping .
